Michelle's Cottilion

Michelle just turned 18th. Her mother, sisters and family hosted a Cottilion in her honor. For those of you who do not know, a Cottilion in the Filipino culture is a celebration when a young girl turns 18 years of age. This marks when she officially becomes a young woman. This is a pre-Cottilion session we had a the Legion of Honor here in San Francisco. It is a tourist spot, so when she came out with her gorgeous dress on, people would stop and ask her where was the groom. She would bashfully giggle and sweetly explain her cultural traditions with complete strangers. Everyone gave her wishes for a wonderful birthday. Michelle is smart, fun, gracious, lovely, kind, athletic, compassionate... I could go one. She is one of those unique people that when she smiles it warms your souls.
